With the mystery of a mysterious envelope begins the story of Sandra Stanford, a petite girl with a hint of sadness in her Irish green eyes. In the early hours of one morning, as she sits sipping her coffee, she witnesses a hit-and-run, which she later learns was attempted murder. The victim hands her the envelope with a dying wish: get it to Congressman Steven Hoyt.
